New editions of the ever popular IGN 1:100,000 scale maps are now available.
The cartography in the new maps, now numbered 101 - 176 is based on the IGN digital data used to produce the country`s topographic survey at more detailed scales.
The maps include plenty of tourist information, for walkers the maps have an overprint highlighting long-distance footpaths, the GR routes. Additional colouring shows different types of vegetation including vineyards, woods, orchards, etc. Places on interest, campsites, sport and recreational facilities, etc.
These new maps have a 5-km UTM grid for GPS users.
